Popular charity ale now part of Fuller’s permanent range
Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C. is delighted to announce that Gales Seafarers Ale is to be added to the London brewer’s year-round range of cask ales.
Gales Seafarers has twice appeared on Fuller’s seasonal ale calendar in the autumn and both times has proven to be a big hit with licensees and customers alike, who have been enthused by the beer raising much needed funds for Seafarers UK - the UK’s leading maritime charity.
Gales Seafarers is brewed to 3.6% ABV and is a delicious, thirst-quenching ale. The brew uses the finest quality English malt and hops along with the unique Gales yeast. Admiral hops continue the nautical theme and add to Seafarers’ fresh, bracing aroma.
John Roberts, managing director of The Fuller’s Beer Company, said: “Gales Seafarers has built up a strong following in its time as a seasonal beer and I’m delighted that in response to demand from drinkers and very positive feedback from our customers, we can launch Seafarers as a permanent addition to our range.
“I am also pleased that we are able to continue our strong links with Seafarers UK, whereby £3 from every barrel sold will go to this great cause.
“Over the last two years we have raised over £8,000 to help people who have worked at sea, including serving and former members of the Royal Navy, Merchant Navy and fishing fleets and their families.”
